Chesapeake Safe Harbor also operates Safe Harbor Kennel on the same 7 acre owner occupied premise located in Bremen Maine. We offer year round boarding and daycare for dog and cats of all sizes and all breeds. Your pet will be loved and cared for while boarding with us here at Safe Harbor Kennel and these are some of the amenities we offer at our facility:
- 26 individual 4 foot x 14 foot outside runs with full roof protecting dogs from sun/rain/snow
- Each run has a doggie door leading into a radiant heated inside run of 4 foot x 4 foot
- All runs are constructed with 6 foot high chain link fence and 4 foot high isolation barriers so no fence fighting can happen between kennels
- All runs, so dogs are not lying on hard floor, have Kuranda dog beds with blankets/toys if dog is acceptable to having these
- All runs, food bowls and water bowls are disinfected twice daily
- All dogs are aired by themselves twice per day in our three outdoor airing pens; each outdoor pen measures 26 foot x 12 foot allowing your dog needed exercise
- We have laundry services and bathing/grooming services (extra cost) so you pet goes home clean with his personal belongings he/she may have brought
- All dogs are fed Purina Pro Plan or equivalent twice per day or at owner's direction and/or owners food with no added charge
- Medications/prescriptions are also given at no extra charge
- No restriction on water, pet has water 24/7
- Night check with treat at which time dogs are locked inside their interior runs unless owner prefers otherwise
- Owner lives on premises and interacts several times daily with dogs and qualified staff
- Proof of Rabies/Bordatella is mandatory prior to dropping off your pet.

Kennel Rates:
- Boarding for 1 dog
(1 day/24hrs.) $19.00
- Boarding for 2 dogs (1 day/24hrs.) $36.00
- Cat Boarding (1 day/24hrs.) $ 8.50
- Daycare (8am to 4:30pm)
$15.00
Deposit equal to one days board will be expected at time of placing reservation; we accept
Mastercard, Visa, personal check and of course cash.
